What do I need to start growing microgreens?

I try to water them at least once a day but I split my time between two residences. With the wicking system and plenty of water in the reservoir, I have been able to leave them for two days.

Microgreens require bright, indirect sunlight or grow lights. Aim for 4-6 hours of light per day. A south-facing window or a grow light placed 6-12 inches above the plants works well. An inexpensive LED lightbulb that is 6500 kelvin should be sufficient.

Some of the easiest microgreens to grow are radishes, broccoli, mustard, and pea shoots. These varieties are fast-growing and forgiving for beginners.
Can I reuse the growing medium?
